Welcome to the Face of Caring, where we highlight Cassia’s dedicated caregivers and share their passion and commitment!

For the past three years, Registered Nurse Tammy Newgard has been a home health nurse for Guardian Angels Home Care and Hospice, which partners with Cassia to provide home health and hospice services in our communities. “I love my job,” says Tammy. “I love being able to be thorough and take as much time as I need with patients. It’s also fabulous to meet different people and see how they improve during my visits.” 

Tammy is highly respected for her work ethic, expertise and positive attitude, which encourages both patients and coworkers to be at their highest optimum level. She was recently recognized for efficiency by completing the most visits in the first quarter 2019. 

Co-workers admire Tammy’s expertise and go get ‘em attitude.  Tammy is a true team player, and patients and family members think the world of her. “You could not have a better employee,” says one patient. “My nurse is my angel for care. Tammy is a number one blessing,” says another.
